Our story

Sue Trombino, our founder, was born in Caracas, Venezuela. Sue learned the joy of travel early on as she was raised in Central America, Africa, and Europe. Having grown up on four continents, she can faithfully say that the world was her teacher. While she witnessed great beauty, Sue also saw the economic hardships that plague many nations around the world. Her experience cultivated a particular understanding and appreciation for the Judeo-Christian values upon which her country, America, was founded.

Moving from banana republics to the Constitutional Republic, she was honored to make the U.S. her home and raise a family here that continues to grow. Importantly, Sue was born into a family marked by faithful service as her father and mother held positions in the military. She serves her country by working to rescue the nation from a different kind of attack. As she noticed a growing ignorance and hatred for the foundation of the United States, she knew she had to make a difference.

In the fall of 2005, Sue founded Women Impacting the Nation, and has been empowering people with God’s Truth ever since. She speaks at business-related and professional seminars, civic rallies, and community and church events across the country. You will often hear her ask, “What does God say?” WIN has been created to answer that very question to all who seek the truth.

Women Impacting the Nation was renamed in 2024 to We Impact the Nation. WIN works to reach men and women of all backgrounds to inform, inspire, and initiate civic action. The organization provides resources of historical and biblical knowledge to anyone seeking to take personal responsibility for their freedoms. It is Sue’s passion to embolden every Christian and American to get involved in activating the moral compass of America.

Purpose

To activate the moral compass of the American people.

Beliefs

First Citizens of the United States share responsibility for the state of the union and will be held accountable before God for how they use and protect their rights and freedoms.


Second An ignorant, complacent, apathetic, immoral, or amoral majority vote constitutes a domestic threat to the national security of the United States of America.


Third “Our constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other.”  —  John Adams


Fourth If a higher percentage of U.S. citizens took part in the political process, our nation could be returned to the Judeo-Christian principles upon which it was founded.


Fifth There is an urgent need and opportunity for God’s people to work together in love and truth to protect the United States of America from all forces that threaten it.

Mission

We remember the sacred Judeo-Christian principles central to the founding of the United States of America.


We speak — raising our voices in prayer, town squares, and over the air.


We equip citizens of the United States with facts, skills, and resources to participate in politics according to their own conscience.


We persuade local and national leaders — with boldness, humility, and faith in Christ — to realign legislation and public policy to the U.S. Constitution.
